Lacto-vegetarian diet
The origin of “lacto” is the Latin word for milk thus it is a vegetarian diet which includes dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, cream, and kefir. They consume only milk and milk products along with plant-based foods and excluding as meat, fish and poultry as well eggs. Lacto-vegetarian diets are observed by many followers of Eastern religious traditions such as Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism.

Popeye’s salad
Ingredients:
Spinach
1 Apple
Lime juice
2 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoon olive oil
Water
cheese
Directions:
1. wash the spinach thoroughly in hot water.
2. slice the apple into cubes and submerge in lime juice.
3. mix together the apple cider vinegar and olive oil, pour water slowly till you get the right consistency of the dressing.
4. drizzle with the dressing over the spinach and apples and grate the cheese over it.
